# Purchasing Power vs TraditioShop

The clearest difference is monetization model: TraditioShop at free against Purchasing Power's free with in-app purchases. Purchasing Power's advantage is ratings volume (32K vs 1). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

TraditioShop holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Purchasing Power has 32K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Purchasing Power ships an update every 2 months, TraditioShop every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
