# Fractions. Smart Pirates. Lite vs Math Master

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Fractions. Smart Pirates. Lite at 100% against Math Master's 45%. Fractions. Smart Pirates. Lite also leads on iOS requirement (9.0 vs 17.6). Math Master's advantage is rating (4.2 vs 3.9) and ratings volume (326 vs 21). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fractions. Smart Pirates. Lite sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and Math Master sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Math Master holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Math Master has 326 ratings behind it against 21, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Fractions. Smart Pirates. Lite's written reviews are positive against 45% of Math Master's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Fractions. Smart Pirates. Lite ships an update monthly, Math Master every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
