# GreatPetCare vs Wagmo

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Wagmo at 67% against GreatPetCare's 33%. Wagmo also leads on monetization model (free vs ad-supported). GreatPetCare's advantage is rating (4.5 vs 4.1) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 3 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

GreatPetCare holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GreatPetCare has 2.2K ratings behind it against 44, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of GreatPetCare's written reviews are positive against 67% of Wagmo's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

GreatPetCare ships an update fortnightly, Wagmo every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
