# Midlands Technical College vs MTC Student App

The clearest difference is rating: Midlands Technical College at 5.0 against MTC Student App's 4.0. MTC Student App's advantage is review sentiment (40% vs 8%) and update cadence (every 5 days vs every 11 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Midlands Technical College holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MTC Student App has 24 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 8% of Midlands Technical College's written reviews are positive against 40% of MTC Student App's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Midlands Technical College ships an update every 11 months, MTC Student App every 5 days. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
