# iTextSpeaker vs O Words

The clearest difference is update cadence: O Words at every 2 weeks against iTextSpeaker's monthly. O Words also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. iTextSpeaker sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and O Words sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

iTextSpeaker ships an update monthly, O Words every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
