# Disconnect Premium VPN vs OutLink

Disconnect Premium VPN and OutLink both sit at 4.3 stars, but that hides the real split: 67% of OutLink's written reviews are positive against 44% of Disconnect Premium VPN's. Disconnect Premium VPN's advantage is ratings volume (194 vs 22) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Disconnect Premium VPN sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and OutLink sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

OutLink holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Disconnect Premium VPN has 194 ratings behind it against 22, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 44% of Disconnect Premium VPN's written reviews are positive against 67% of OutLink's.

Disconnect Premium VPN ships an update every 2 months, OutLink every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
