# QWE vs MT Browser

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: QWE at none against MT Browser's 4. QWE also leads on ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (66% vs 49%). MT Browser's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 9 months) and rating (4.4 vs 4.0). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MT Browser sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. QWE asks for nothing beyond the download.

MT Browser holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 470 and 2.1K respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 66% of QWE's written reviews are positive against 49% of MT Browser's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

QWE ships an update every 9 months, MT Browser every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
