# Aexels vs Pooki

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Aexels at 100% against Pooki's 14%. Aexels also leads on update cadence (every 10 days vs every 6 weeks) and ratings volume (14 vs 2). Pooki's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.5) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 14.2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Pooki holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Aexels has 14 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Aexels's written reviews are positive against 14% of Pooki's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Aexels ships an update every 10 days, Pooki every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
