# DiNico's Pizza vs Sbarro

The clearest difference is update cadence: Sbarro at fortnightly against DiNico's Pizza's every 3 months. Sbarro also leads on ratings volume (1.8K vs 18). DiNico's Pizza's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

DiNico's Pizza holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sbarro has 1.8K ratings behind it against 18, so its average is the more settled of the two.

DiNico's Pizza ships an update every 3 months, Sbarro fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
