The clearest difference is price: Duet Display at Free against Yam Display's $7.99. Duet Display also leads on ratings volume (49K vs 80) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months). Yam Display's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (70% vs 45%). On rating, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Duet Display is free to download; Yam Display costs $7.99 up front. Duet Display sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Yam Display sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.4 for Duet Display against 4.4 for Yam Display.
