# Duet Display vs Siveillance VMS Video

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Siveillance VMS Video at 100% against Duet Display's 45%. Siveillance VMS Video also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 6) and ads (none vs shown). Duet Display's advantage is rating (4.4 vs 3.7) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 5 months). On price there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Duet Display sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Siveillance VMS Video asks for nothing beyond the download.

Duet Display holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Duet Display has 49K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 45% of Duet Display's written reviews are positive against 100% of Siveillance VMS Video's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Duet Display ships an update every 3 weeks, Siveillance VMS Video every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
