# Duet Display vs iTechGuy

Duet Display and iTechGuy both sit at 4.4 stars, but that hides the real split: 89% of iTechGuy's written reviews are positive against 45% of Duet Display's. iTechGuy also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). Duet Display's advantage is ratings volume (49K vs 10) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Duet Display sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and iTechGuy sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

iTechGuy holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Duet Display has 49K ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 45% of Duet Display's written reviews are positive against 89% of iTechGuy's.

Duet Display ships an update every 3 weeks, iTechGuy weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
