# 스피쿠스 vs 맥스 AI

The clearest difference is rating: 스피쿠스 at 5.0 against 맥스 AI's 3.6. 스피쿠스 also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 4). 맥스 AI's advantage is review sentiment (93% vs 76%) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 맥스 AI sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. 스피쿠스 asks for nothing beyond the download.

스피쿠스 holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 맥스 AI has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 76% of 스피쿠스's written reviews are positive against 93% of 맥스 AI's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

스피쿠스 ships an update every 2 months, 맥스 AI every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
