# Girlscam vs Chic

The clearest difference is rating: Girlscam at 4.7 against Chic's 3.8. Girlscam also leads on review sentiment (85% vs 58%) and ratings volume (809 vs 49). Chic's advantage is update cadence (every 4 weeks vs every 2 months) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 12.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Girlscam sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $1.99 per month and Chic sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Girlscam holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Girlscam has 809 ratings behind it against 49, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 85% of Girlscam's written reviews are positive against 58% of Chic's.

Girlscam ships an update every 2 months, Chic every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
