# Conquistadores vs ideaShell

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Conquistadores at none against ideaShell's 12. Conquistadores also leads on review sentiment (90% vs 76%) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 15.0). ideaShell's advantage is update cadence (every 10 days vs every 12 months) and ratings volume (599 vs 4). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ideaShell sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Conquistadores asks for nothing beyond the download.

ideaShell holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ideaShell has 599 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 90% of Conquistadores's written reviews are positive against 76% of ideaShell's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Conquistadores ships an update every 12 months, ideaShell every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
