# Skyflow vs Life Lapse Stop Motion

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Life Lapse Stop Motion at 9.5K against Skyflow's 602. Skyflow's advantage is device support (4 vs 2). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Skyflow sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and Life Lapse Stop Motion sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Life Lapse Stop Motion holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Life Lapse Stop Motion has 9.5K ratings behind it against 602, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 72% of Skyflow's written reviews are positive against 69% of Life Lapse Stop Motion's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Skyflow ships an update every 3 weeks, Life Lapse Stop Motion every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
