# WebPDF vs Coverage Map

The clearest difference is ads: WebPDF at none against Coverage Map's shown. WebPDF also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Coverage Map's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 22 months) and ratings volume (798 vs 4). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

WebPDF holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Coverage Map has 798 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 80% of WebPDF's written reviews are positive against 68% of Coverage Map's.

WebPDF ships an update every 22 months, Coverage Map fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on September 26, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
