# Scratch Disc vs SHINOBI DJ

The clearest difference is rating: SHINOBI DJ at 4.3 against Scratch Disc's 3.3. Scratch Disc's advantage is review sentiment (68% vs 44%) and iOS requirement (7.1 vs 15.5). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Scratch Disc sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and SHINOBI DJ sells 8 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SHINOBI DJ holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 16 and 16 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 68% of Scratch Disc's written reviews are positive against 44% of SHINOBI DJ's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Scratch Disc ships an update every 3 weeks, SHINOBI DJ every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
