# Wawa vs PDQ Chicken

Wawa and PDQ Chicken both sit at 4.5 stars, but that hides the real split: 60% of PDQ Chicken's written reviews are positive against 12% of Wawa's. PDQ Chicken also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.1). Wawa's advantage is ratings volume (65K vs 1.4K) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 4 months). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for Wawa against 4.6 for PDQ Chicken. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Wawa has 65K ratings behind it against 1.4K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 12% of Wawa's written reviews are positive against 60% of PDQ Chicken's.
