# Stryd vs Live.τ

The clearest difference is update cadence: Stryd at every 3 days against Live.τ's every 5 weeks. Stryd also leads on review sentiment (61% vs 40%) and device support (4 vs 2). Live.τ's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Stryd sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $14.99 per month and Live.τ sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Stryd ships an update every 3 days, Live.τ every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and September 21, 2026 respectively.
