# G Adventures vs Eagle

The clearest difference is rating: Eagle at 5.0 against G Adventures's 1.8. G Adventures's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks) and ratings volume (102 vs 14). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Eagle holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 1.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: G Adventures has 102 ratings behind it against 14, so its average is the more settled of the two.

G Adventures ships an update weekly, Eagle every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
