# PassManager vs Simple Notepad

PassManager and Simple Notepad both sit at 4.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 68% of Simple Notepad's written reviews are positive against 34% of PassManager's. Simple Notepad also leads on ratings volume (2.8K vs 33). PassManager's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks).
