# WizzJ vs Trapp

The clearest difference is rating: Trapp at 4.2 against WizzJ's 3.2. Trapp also leads on ratings volume (3.9K vs 25) and iOS requirement (9.3 vs 17.6). WizzJ's advantage is review sentiment (53% vs 21%) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 6 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. WizzJ sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and Trapp sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Trapp holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 3.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Trapp has 3.9K ratings behind it against 25, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 53% of WizzJ's written reviews are positive against 21% of Trapp's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

WizzJ ships an update every 2 weeks, Trapp every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
