# WizzJ vs Music Visualizer

The clearest difference is rating: Music Visualizer at 4.6 against WizzJ's 3.2. Music Visualizer also leads on ratings volume (162 vs 25). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. WizzJ sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and Music Visualizer sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Music Visualizer holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Music Visualizer has 162 ratings behind it against 25, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 53% of WizzJ's written reviews are positive against 50% of Music Visualizer's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

WizzJ ships an update every 2 weeks, Music Visualizer every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
