# Synonymy Lite vs Mindset GO!

The clearest difference is rating: Synonymy Lite at 5.0 against Mindset GO!'s 3.8. Synonymy Lite also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 17) and ads (none vs shown). Mindset GO!'s advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 months) and review sentiment (69% vs 50%). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mindset GO! sells 17 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Synonymy Lite asks for nothing beyond the download.

Synonymy Lite holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mindset GO! has 41 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Synonymy Lite's written reviews are positive against 69% of Mindset GO!'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Synonymy Lite ships an update every 5 months, Mindset GO! fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
