# Days vs Countdown Widgets

The clearest difference is update cadence: Days at every 5 days against Countdown Widgets's monthly. Days also leads on ratings volume (12K vs 44) and rating (4.8 vs 4.5). Countdown Widgets's advantage is review sentiment (90% vs 73%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Days sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Countdown Widgets sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Days holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Days has 12K ratings behind it against 44, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 73% of Days's written reviews are positive against 90% of Countdown Widgets's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Days ships an update every 5 days, Countdown Widgets monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and August 19, 2026 respectively.
