# Days vs Countdown

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Countdown at none against Days's 19. Countdown also leads on device support (4 vs 2) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 17.0). Days's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 6 months). On price and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Days sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Countdown asks for nothing beyond the download.

Days ships an update every 5 days, Countdown every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and September 9, 2026 respectively.
