# Worm Battle vs Sheldon's Whip

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Sheldon's Whip at none against Worm Battle's 11. Sheldon's Whip also leads on review sentiment (28% vs 7%). Worm Battle's advantage is ratings volume (229 vs 8) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 7 months). On price, ads, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Worm Battle sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Sheldon's Whip asks for nothing beyond the download.

Worm Battle holds the better App Store score, 3.1 against 2.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Worm Battle has 229 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 7% of Worm Battle's written reviews are positive against 28% of Sheldon's Whip's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Worm Battle ships an update every 2 months, Sheldon's Whip every 7 months. Both last shipped on October 26, 2026.
