# RADAR Chain vs SCOTS

The clearest difference is update cadence: SCOTS at every 5 weeks against RADAR Chain's every 14 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

RADAR Chain ships an update every 14 months, SCOTS every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
