# TimeFlys vs Private Camera

The clearest difference is update cadence: Private Camera at every 2 months against TimeFlys's every 22 months. TimeFlys's advantage is iOS requirement (6.0 vs 15.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

TimeFlys ships an update every 22 months, Private Camera every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
