# Drops vs 2DUB

The clearest difference is rating: Drops at 4.7 against 2DUB's 4.1. Drops also leads on ratings volume (72K vs 13) and update cadence (every 8 days vs every 3 weeks). 2DUB's advantage is iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.6). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Drops sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month and 2DUB sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Drops holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Drops has 72K ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of Drops's written reviews are positive against 77% of 2DUB's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Drops ships an update every 8 days, 2DUB every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
