# Drops vs Bluebird

The clearest difference is ads: Bluebird at none against Drops's shown. Bluebird also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.6). Drops's advantage is update cadence (every 8 days vs every 3 months). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Drops sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month and Bluebird sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Drops ships an update every 8 days, Bluebird every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
