# Drops vs Superfluent

The clearest difference is ads: Superfluent at none against Drops's shown. Superfluent also leads on review sentiment (93% vs 75%) and rating (4.9 vs 4.7). Drops's advantage is ratings volume (72K vs 3.2K). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Drops sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month and Superfluent sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $10.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Superfluent holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Drops has 72K ratings behind it against 3.2K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 75% of Drops's written reviews are positive against 93% of Superfluent's.

Drops ships an update weekly, Superfluent every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
