# Drops vs Welsh Vocab

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Welsh Vocab at none against Drops's 13. Welsh Vocab also leads on ads (none vs shown) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Drops's advantage is update cadence (every 8 days vs every 24 months) and ratings volume (72K vs 2). On price, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Drops sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Welsh Vocab asks for nothing beyond the download.
