# Mediums vs Deep Reading

The clearest difference is update cadence: Deep Reading at every 2 days against Mediums's monthly. Mediums's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.1). On ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Mediums ships an update monthly, Deep Reading every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
