# Roller Polar vs Glitch

The clearest difference is ads: Glitch at none against Roller Polar's shown. Glitch also leads on update cadence (every 4 months vs every 9 months). Roller Polar's advantage is ratings volume (62 vs 2) and rating (4.3 vs 4.0). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Roller Polar sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Glitch sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Roller Polar holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Roller Polar has 62 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 59% of Roller Polar's written reviews are positive against 67% of Glitch's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Roller Polar ships an update every 9 months, Glitch every 4 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
