# Roller Polar vs Mr. Catt

The clearest difference is rating: Roller Polar at 4.3 against Mr. Catt's 3.7. Roller Polar also leads on ratings volume (62 vs 7). Mr. Catt's advantage is review sentiment (86% vs 59%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Roller Polar sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Mr. Catt sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Roller Polar holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Roller Polar has 62 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 59% of Roller Polar's written reviews are positive against 86% of Mr. Catt's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Roller Polar ships an update every 9 months, Mr. Catt every 5 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
