# Roller Polar vs Flipping Legend Halfbrick+

The clearest difference is monetization model: Roller Polar at free with in-app purchases against Flipping Legend Halfbrick+'s subscription. Roller Polar also leads on rating (4.3 vs 4.0) and ratings volume (62 vs 4). Flipping Legend Halfbrick+'s advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (daily vs every 9 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Roller Polar sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Flipping Legend Halfbrick+ sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
