# FaceDrawFree vs MagicResize

The clearest difference is rating: MagicResize at 4.2 against FaceDrawFree's 3.0. MagicResize also leads on ratings volume (89 vs 2). FaceDrawFree's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 2) and ads (none vs shown). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MagicResize sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. FaceDrawFree asks for nothing beyond the download.

MagicResize holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MagicResize has 89 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of FaceDrawFree's written reviews are positive against 60% of MagicResize's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
