# TV vs Porten

The clearest difference is ads: Porten at none against TV's shown. Porten also leads on update cadence (every 5 months vs every 20 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

TV ships an update every 20 months, Porten every 5 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
