# Big Days vs Event Countdown

Big Days and Event Countdown both sit at 4.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 91% of Big Days's written reviews are positive against 31% of Event Countdown's. Big Days also leads on ratings volume (592 vs 19). Event Countdown's advantage is update cadence (monthly vs every 4 months) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.0). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Big Days sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and Event Countdown sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Big Days against 4.7 for Event Countdown. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Big Days has 592 ratings behind it against 19, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 91% of Big Days's written reviews are positive against 31% of Event Countdown's.

Big Days ships an update every 4 months, Event Countdown monthly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
