# m vs AirDroid

The clearest difference is rating: AirDroid at 4.3 against m's 1.0. AirDroid also leads on update cadence (every 3 months vs every 52 months) and ratings volume (1.1K vs 1). m's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

AirDroid holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AirDroid has 1.1K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

m ships an update every 52 months, AirDroid every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 7, 2026 respectively.
