# Medly vs Boimero

The clearest difference is ads: Medly at none against Boimero's shown. Medly also leads on ratings volume (39K vs 581). Boimero's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 6 days) and review sentiment (88% vs 74%). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Medly sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Boimero sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Medly against 4.6 for Boimero. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Medly has 39K ratings behind it against 581, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 74% of Medly's written reviews are positive against 88% of Boimero's.

Medly ships an update every 6 days, Boimero every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
