# Seekers Notes vs Christmas Stories 9

The clearest difference is ads: Christmas Stories 9 at none against Seekers Notes's shown. Christmas Stories 9 also leads on rating (4.7 vs 4.3) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 15.0). Seekers Notes's advantage is ratings volume (95K vs 199) and update cadence (weekly vs every 5 weeks). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Seekers Notes sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Christmas Stories 9 sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Christmas Stories 9 holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Seekers Notes has 95K ratings behind it against 199, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 59% of Seekers Notes's written reviews are positive against 58% of Christmas Stories 9's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Seekers Notes ships an update weekly, Christmas Stories 9 every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
