# Seekers Notes vs Magic Сity Detective

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Seekers Notes at 59% against Magic Сity Detective's 25%. Seekers Notes also leads on ratings volume (95K vs 316) and update cadence (weekly vs every 6 weeks). Magic Сity Detective's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 4.3). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Seekers Notes sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Magic Сity Detective sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Magic Сity Detective holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Seekers Notes has 95K ratings behind it against 316, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 59% of Seekers Notes's written reviews are positive against 25% of Magic Сity Detective's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
