# Video Reverse vs Clippy

The clearest difference is rating: Clippy at 4.6 against Video Reverse's 3.0. Clippy also leads on update cadence (every 2 months vs every 4 months) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 14.0). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Video Reverse sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Clippy sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Clippy holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 122 and 201 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 71% of Video Reverse's written reviews are positive against 65% of Clippy's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Video Reverse ships an update every 4 months, Clippy every 2 months. Both last shipped on October 21, 2026.
