# Video Reverse vs Reverse Vid

The clearest difference is rating: Reverse Vid at 4.4 against Video Reverse's 3.0. Reverse Vid also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 4 months). Video Reverse's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Video Reverse sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Reverse Vid sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Reverse Vid holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Reverse Vid has 70K ratings behind it against 122, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 71% of Video Reverse's written reviews are positive against 67% of Reverse Vid's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Video Reverse ships an update every 4 months, Reverse Vid every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
