# APT IIN vs Welcome Pickups

The clearest difference is monetization model: APT IIN at free against Welcome Pickups's paid. APT IIN also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). Welcome Pickups's advantage is rating (4.9 vs 4.4) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Welcome Pickups holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Welcome Pickups has 6.4K ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two.

APT IIN ships an update every 5 months, Welcome Pickups fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
