# LITPro vs Chicane

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Chicane at none against LITPro's 3. Chicane also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6). LITPro's advantage is ratings volume (334 vs 5) and update cadence (every 5 days vs fortnightly). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. LITPro sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Chicane asks for nothing beyond the download.

Chicane holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: LITPro has 334 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two.

LITPro ships an update every 5 days, Chicane fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
