# Macworld vs Glasgow Times

The clearest difference is monetization model: Macworld at free with in-app purchases against Glasgow Times's subscription. Macworld also leads on iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Macworld sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $10.99 per 6 months and Glasgow Times sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $5.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
